Round 2, Tonia Hadley vs Andy Calvert

Calv opened up a lead of 16-8, a comback from Tonia saw her within one shot trailing 18-19. Calv then running out to win 21-18. Tonia received two shots, Calv played off scratch.

Mouse received two shots and found herself 11-1 and 18-14 ahead. Tracy held her nerve in the second half of the game to win 21-19.

Round 2, Cameron Gurdas vs Jim Watkin

Cameron had beat Jonathan Blakeman 21-22 to reach the 2nd Round. Receiving 6 shots, he scored 16 against Jim in round two.

2nd Round, Marc Wilson vs Keith Lawlor

Marc had beaten his father John 23-20 in round one. Against Tiger he lead 9-2 and ran out at 17-11 to secure a quarter final place 23-11.

Quarter Final, Sam Fagan vs Terry Jones

Tez recovered from 2-9 to win 22-19.

Quarter Final, Andy Calvert vs Tracy Wilkins

With both players off scratch it was Calv who made the early progress leading 16-6. Final score 21-11 to Calv.

Quarter Final, Marc Wilson vs Jim Watkin

Jim in his first club competition quarter final found it tough going against Marc. A break of 12 in the middle of the match helped Marc to a 23-10 victory.

Quarter Final, Mark Nemedi vs Chris Chilton

22 up for both players, Chilli looked in good form all day. Only behind for the first end, Chris won this match 22-7.

Semi Final, Terry Jones vs Chris Chilton

Not the best of semi's for TJ as Chilli registered another single figure win, 22-6.

Came through two close games to reach the semi final. Beat Mark Hadley Snr 22-19 in round two and Sam Fagan 22-19 in the quarter final.

With Marc still very much in form, 23-12 was a harsh scoreline for Calv who did not find much luck in the semi final. Eight 2's for Marc in this match.

25 years previous, Malcolm Spencer had beaten Ollie Newman in the final to win the 1983 Club Handicap.

Danielle was part of four first round games, scoring 15 against Keith Lawlor.

A nip and tuck final but it was Marc who found himself in front 16-10.

Three successive 2's put Chilli back in contention 16-16. At 21-19 to Marc, Chris knocked a short bowl in for Marc to count two and win the final 23-19.

An enjoyable day with spirits high, we finished with a 22 person game of killer. Blakey and Terry in the final only for Blakey to send the jack off in the final end and gift TJ the £22 prize!
