Chairman 1989 - 1994. Captained the W&W Alliance team for 6 seasons between 1981 and 1987.

Bob Aldred

A bowler who played for Broomfield on and off in the 1980's and 1990's, his final season being 1996. Won the Chairmans Shield in 1981, runner up in 1992. Was the very first winner of The Roy Freeman Cup, beating Nigel Freeman in the final. Won the Club Handicap in 1993. Played in the W&W Alliance cup final in 1996.

Ray Fletcher & Nicky Garbett

Ray Fletcher captained the Oldbury 'A' team for 6 seasons between 1971 & 1976. That included 5 seasons as league winners, 3 of them in Division 1. Nicky Garbett was Broomfield's first woman bowler.

Brian Hope

Was barely into his bowls career when he died on New Years Day in 1982 from lung cancer. Brian was only in his late 30's and had become more involved in the bowls section after he was voted onto the committee in 1980.
